Nice to see a slug-free ice surface.

Remember last year when we thought the old logo at centre ice was only there for pre-season?
By Golly. I think they got it right.

Ahhhh, the only true logo. A brilliant someone, somewhere in the organization, is using their noggin'.

Besides, having to salt the slug makes the ice kinda melty.

It is a good direction to go with the center ice. I mean their uniforms are ugly, and their boards are ugly; yhey had to offer some relief.......

I like that the dasher board tops are blue now, not red. And with the proper logo at center ice, the ice surface is looking sexxxy.

Sabres Edge has an article about the new plexiglass that was installed this season that's supposed to give fans a better view of the game.

thatll be the third time theyve changed the boards and glass in about 7 years. the first boards were state of the art, then they changed em to the new almost seamless glass (the dashers were clear rather then metal) and now this? lotta money to spend. but im sure itll be fore the better.

edit: no, do not like at all! the tops of the dashers are blue, no longer red (almost every team has blue top dashers. that was one thing that was original about HSBC arena. you could spot that it was HSBC right away) and the dashers appear to be blue metal (not CERTAIN, but pretty sure) as well, rather then the clear plastic that was on the last rendition) but ill have to see in person in a month or two. (yeah, you heard me right)

and yes, i know. im lame and pay too much attention to detail.
