The team will need Lalime to play and play well the remaining 41 games. I'd say he should play 15-20 games because Miller will need the rest especially after the Olympics. He seems to have the confidence and there's no reason he shouldn't be able to handle the load. |

20 games would be playing Lalime every other game - he doesn't need to play that much. I say 10 games for him down the stretch is about right - let him play a quarter of them. |

No qualms with that decision. Lalime *knocks on wood* has found his game again |

Worst thing they can do with Lalime is not play him and let the rust build. Keep him going while he's on his game, I say! |

With 41 games to play, I think 10-15 starts for Lalime would be a good goal. I think ideally you want to see your backup maybe 25% of the time, 20-22 games to give your starter sufficient rest. |

Does this weekend mean Saturday's game against the Avs or does Friday's Leafs' game count as the weekend? I would like to see Lindy give Lalime the start a couple of games in a row, just to see if he can get into a rhythm. Maybe the Avs Saturday, the Thrashers next Thursday, and the Islanders next Saturday. That would give Miller a ten day rest before going into a five game, eight day West coast swing against the 'Yotes, Ducks, Kings, Sharks, and Canucks. |

I have faith that Lalime (boy would Bullthefirefighter gush right now) will continue his stand up performance. He has found his game but a well tooled defense definitely helps and that's what we lacked the past two season. |

They play him so they can showcase him and they go out and get Biron. |

You are probably right about that. |

I don't really care how often they play Lalime, so long as Miller is in net on friday. Because it's fucking Toronto and I want to beat them lol, but also they're in our division and I'm going to that game. |

Broduer is old also, and he hasn't really slowed down. I'd like Lalime to play in at least ten of the remaining games, and I'm sure he will, especially if we keep looking like we do. Use your backup more now, so Miller is even fresher in the playoffs and can play in all of those games. |

Miller is inside The Lady Leafs heads; they have said that on The Laffs 640 AM station many times. Burke has said it as well. |

I don't want Biron now. I think that Lalime is a better backup, and while I'd love to see Marty back here as he was such a likable guy, I don't think it makes sense at all. We're going to need Lalime come March. We have 16 games that month, including 3 sets of back-to-back games, in which Miller will just have come off of the Olympics, hopefully getting quite far into them. If he gets a majority of the starting time there, we need to be sure as to not wear him out then, especially since we need him to be in top shape for the playoffs. I'd play Miller for most of the games now - he seems to play better when he has a heavy workload. But we still need Lalime in there every 5-6 games to make sure Miller isn't overworked and that Lalime stays fresh. |

DP's career is over. Great move signing him for 15 years, Snow. |
