I think alot of people were skeptical about this team when scoring was down and when the Sabres were winning low scoring games. Which is fair but like PSP and I said they will get better this team has alot of upside and untapped potential.

Last month the Sabres scored fourtyone goals in fifteen games, nine of them coming in the last two games of the month, that's a 2.73 GF average a game. The Sabres won nine out of fifteen with two shootout losses giving them twenty out of a possible thirty points.

The Sabres put up thirtyfour goals in the ten games so far this month that's a 3.4 GF average a game. The Sabres have won six out of ten of those games and only losing one of four in regulation with three shootout losses. That's fifteen out of a possible twenty points.

That said stats show the Sabres are scoring more and looking dangerous doing so. Even though we lost a few games this month, they have rarely looked flat, they have been very competitive and resilient overcoming multi goal deficits several times making them extremly tough to beat. This team is "Scary Good" folks!!!

This team finds ways to win games. Thats it. They can play horrible offense and squeeze out a defensive 1 goal game, or they can play crappy defense, but score quite a few goals. Either way, this team keeps games close. This is good because our record in 1 goal games is superb.

Come playoff time one goal games are very common so making a habit of winning those games is huge. By doing that you build team confidence and you need that to go deep in the playoffs. Never quiting is a huge part of being a contender.

Exactly why this team should be pretty scary come playoff time. I like any matchup right now except Ottawa, but even then, it will be epic.
