Was he the usual solid good, or was he stupid ridiculous good and the only reason the Sabres looked worth a damn on paper tonight?

...yeah - The second part.

He made some point-blank saves that were pure money. Definitely stood on his head a few times.

Picked off a few, through screens - With Holmstrom parked in his lap, slapping away.

Miller was very sharp. Faced 42 shots? Stopped 41? Veeeerrrry sharp.

from what i heard of the first period. miller was definitely the reason the sabres where in the game i mean i don't think the first shot of goal was until the 9 minute mark. and it was by lydman, then gerbe got like three or four shots. i know they finished with like five shots to say 13 that detroit had.

I'm just saying after a performance like that he ain't too bad on the eyes. Made 41 saves? Against Detroit? I don't care if it is a pre season game, numbers like that against a team like the Red Wings makes me feel all tingly inside.

I watched from the second period on, and he was fantastic. I would be willing to say that if tonight was any indication of what we can expect for the season, than we should be very excited. He'll steal games for us.

That is one bailout I think we can all agree on we'd like more of? Am I right? I'm joking. Enough with the bailouts. Let them fail! Sorry, I listen to NPR at job #1 and well I can't get the nonsense out of my head.

Never. But the morons who usually shit all over Miller's game tend to throw out names that make you go "Whaaaaa...? That guy's shiiiiiit!"

But, they always do it. :D
