Okay, so don't go crazy...it's just an attention grabber. I would like to know what you guys think though about the increase in GA/G. I don't see us working as hard in the defensive zone... Vancouver OWNED us from what I saw in the 3rd period. We don't have a problem getting back, but our defensive play seems to be slumping. Thoughts? |

Some of if it is that we were outworked, but there was more to it. Some of the time it was just that there were bigger, more physical, BETTER players, and some of the time our players had huge, major brainfarts. |

Agreed, it is quite frustrating watching our previously "Shut down" defense and our "Elite" goalie struggle like this. I think it's a combination of the defense just...sucking, and miller not being as sharp as before. Maybe they're getting worn down, maybe they're losing mental focus because of the upcoming olympics? Who knows, but it sucks. |

Or it could have been they were playing a 7 game road trip out west, where the games would normally be like 7:00 or 7:30 over there, and to us its like 10:00 and 10:30 and they could have been just tired... who knows. |

It doesnt take more than a day or two to adjust to changing time zones, for professional athletes who do nothing besides play a sport, that does not seem like a reasonable excuse to my ears. |

Being away from home for that long still has effects on your body and mind. Even if it takes a few days to get used to the time change, your body doesn't really get used to it, not if you live on the East and workout at the same time always. |

- Miller carried this team on his back game in game out - Played 7 games in 12 days thats thousands of miles Even our Goalienator is human so givbe him the damn earned rest! rest: sometimes they need to play FOR their goalie but failed miserable. Like I said this team IS a po contender nothing more. Hopefully some "cup dreamers" reaize it now. |
