He won't, he sat on the bench but they elected to take a closer look at him just in case. It's better to be looked at then, instead go out on the ice and really fuck your face up. |

Do those kinds of things make people think twice before blocking a shot? You think in the back of his head now when a guy is winding up, hell be thinking "hope it doesn't hit my face" instead if thinking about his defensive assignments?? |

Especially with Vanek last year...but seeing the way he skated off the ice that time you knew he was really screwed up. Must have been pure adrenaline not to lay crumpled on the ice. |

Someone just posted this on hf boards "this was just posted on Facebook from the Sabres page: Despite missing the remainder of the game after taking a shot to the side of the neck, Tyler Myers says he will skate at tomorrow's practice. The defenseman was sporting a large lump on his neck after the game." |

Granted I'm not an NHL player, but I took a shot to the collar bone once, didn't make me think twice about going down to block a shot the next time. Just gotta remember to turn your head. |
