What Psych said, and yea, I'm that big boy's biggest fucking cheerleader. He'll get his ten games, unless he crumbles in the home stretch of the preseason. This kid looks like the real deal.

I'm right there with you, I'm loving every second this kid is playing, can't wait to hopefully be able to wacth him play tomorrow.

He won't go anywhere until his ten games are up, the more NHL exposure the better.

Portland is looking pretty good again this year.

So, who are the kids "on the bubble"?

Enroth, Cowen, McCormick, Gerbe and Weber come to mind. Who am I missing? (Besides DiPenta, as well.)

Nah, Gogulla is here to stay - he'll be sent down at final trim. Kennedy and Gerbe, Weber, Cowan and McCormick, and Enroth...yep, sounds about right.

Did he get a pedicure and a facial or something, because on ice he's been invisible at best and reports are that he came to camp badly out of condition.

...technically, Myers is in a category on his own - Up to 9 games in Buffalo, then it's either NHL or bust (back to the Rockets, for another season.)

If he stays for the tenth game, his qualifying offer kicks-in and he's on the roster for good (or at least until next September, when he meets age-qualifications for the AHL.)

I reckon if Darcy's gonna have to pay him (after the 10th game) he'll keep him on the team - As long as he doesn't screw the pooch in a major way. No point in sitting him.

And there's really no point sending him down to Kelowna either, where he'll just play with himself for a season. He needs to play among men, to develop further.
