He will make a move if there is one to make. MTL is desperate, NYR are desperate, and Boston is starting to get desperate. They'll pay out the ass for some of these players that are available.

Even if a move isn't made today, he has two weeks to talk and make unofficial deals.

Then three days of trading chaos after that.

I think this poll solidifies our faith in our GM to get things done. Other GM's WILL get shit done, and we'll once again thank our lucky stars Darcy didn't "give away our future". He prefers to let them walk to free agency.

I think that picture is a stab at Miller, because some people call him, "Mr. Softee."

This all having been said, I don't think the reasoning given behind not scrambling to make moves is terribly unsound.

And whatever it is you just said made my head hurt. :?

(Memories of my 3rd grade teacher, who used to get in our faces and screech, "THAT IS CORRECT, IS IT NOT?!" She would grab our arms and shake us in a rage whether we responded yes or no, so we learned to just stand there paralyzed.)

he won't do anything because he believes everything is okay. Well Mr. Regier the fans don't want okay they want better than okay. I personally think buffalo fans have suffered through mediocrity long enough.

Ummm, how many teams actually traded before today's little trade freeze?

Lets list them:
Atlanta
Carolina
New Jersey
Senators
Wild
Chicago
Habs
Sharks
Calgary

And only one of these trades was for anyone really substantial.
