Ok, Torres has been out for a while now with his wrist injury. Now Connolly and Kaleta are out after the Senators game and Vanek after Tampa. Why is this happening now!!!! I know there is alot of confidence with our prospects, can they really handle big boy playoff hockey????

I have nothing but faith that some of these players will return before or during the playoff run. Plus, we get to look at the potential future of the club in pressure situations.

I LOVE IT!!!!

Rumor has it that Torres and Kaleta are on IR and Slesh just posted that Gerbe has been told to pack his bags because Vanek may be out for a while too.

I respect your confidence Slesh but I'm a little nervous. I have no doubt that most of the players that are out will do their damnest to get back in the line up before or at the start of playoffs. I just want the whole team healthy although Ennis has great chemistry with Roy tonight

I wouldn't call it "dropping like flies" -- hell, it's only four guys.

Connolly was just a foot flare-up; a couple days rest should do him good.

Kaleta's tough; he ain't gonna miss out on the playoffs.

And honestly -- did anybody really notice Torres' absence?

I didn't read anywhere in the post game reports about Vanek, in the NHL recap they didn't mention it at all.

Connolly and Vanek are being held out mainly as precautions per TBN and WGR respectively.

Ruff stated Vanek shouldn't be out to long in his post game.

I gotta say, someone here at SJ is dropping the ball, usually I hear about injuries with some topic in sabres hockey like "OMFG Vanek out for 2 weeks with bruised spleen!"

Now i'm just reading random threads and finding out that vanek is now hurt too (ok, maybe the thread wasnt TOTALLY random, i guess it IS titled 'players dropping like flies') But still.

Ah, did anyone else really NEED last nights game? Just...the bounces, the calls, the luck, the utter dominance we show over tampa, It felt SO good to see our boys just teeing the fuck up like that, boy, I cant WAIT to meet them in the playoffs! (shhhhh)
