Why would Lindy break up Vanek - Roy - Kennedy? Why was Staff with Vanek and Roy? Doesn't Ruff remember what the Vanek-Roy-Stafford line looked like before Staff's injury? Wasn't Lindy paying attention when Mancari looked better with those two? And then when Kennedy was with them? Why put Stafford back on that line....

Or am I being to hard on Stafford?

No, I think your spot on. Stafford is just not suited to be an impact player with Roy and Vanek. And I fully agree that both Mancari and Kennedy looked better on that line.

ok so if we see it, and im guessing some others see it... WHY DOESNT LINDY SEE IT!!!! Get Stafford off that line... stick him on the 3rd or 4th.... he is NOT playing like a top 6 forward... so why reward him as a top 6 forward....

To be honest I would have Stafford over Kennedy. Kennedy has a good work ethic but in my eyes no finish... yes he is a rookie but Stafford needs to be on a line that can score.. Stafford needs a play maker.. and when stafford gets hot he is great.. Keep stafford on that line Kennedy work the walls and play good D on second or third line..

I have no idea. Really stupid decision, IMHO.

Stafford is lazy, and only shows up when he feels like it then disappears for weeks. One of the few players left in the team from the Inconsistant Era, as I like to call it. MacArthur, Paille, Max, Peters, Kotalik, etc. I'll take a talented youngster with a good work ethic on a line with two guys that can finish any day. Vanek Roy Kennedy looked pretty solid in the time they played together...

Get staff off this team, im sorry but im done waiting, kennedy busts his ass, and is excellent along the walls which means hes good at feeding vanek, roy, and vice versa, i will trade mancari and ennis, for staff and goose anyday, im sorry but paul just isnt nothing more than a faceoff guy this year IMHO

I'm guessing Lindy was hoping Stafford look good enough with them again to constitute keeping him up on that line. The reason being, the fact that Kennedy is a rookie, and do you really want a rookie(who has had some ups and downs this year) skating on your "top line" during the playoffs, which he has never played in?

I'm guessing that was Lindy's thought process, but it didn't seem to work out in the least bit, so lets hope he puts Kennedy back there down the stretch
