Ottawa is five pts behind Buffalo and five pts ahead of Philly and Montreal. With six games to go Ottawa would have to earn only 3-5 pts while Philly or Montreal earn at least 8-10. Ottawa looks to be pretty well stuck in 5th place, so I think it's safe to say Buffalo is safe and sound from Ottawa, at least in the 1st round.

Good post. The maturity level of Ottawa hate on these boards does often need work IMO. "The Ottawa Senators' Mystique" is certainly much more up my alley than "Fuck Ottawa".
