Alright, let's get this out of the way. I predict the following: The sabres will both beat, and lose to the Florida Panthers by every conceivable score. It will be a close match that was a blowout from the beginning when the sabres prevail in overtime after losing in the shootout by a score of pi to e. The sabres will win the stanley cup, though it will be doubtful from the getgo when they miss the playoffs while winning the division, but finishing several points below the surging ottawa senators who limped to a last place finish in the northeast. The sabres will play a western conference team in the first round, winning the series 4 games to 0 even though Miller and Lalime record no wins and Miller's gaa is 47 after allowing no goals in game seven, which ended in overtime. The sabres will then be imediately eliminated from the playoffs, surging easily though the first three rounds to their first cup finals appearance ever since 1999. They will then face the last place edmonton oilers masquerading as the san jose sharks, playing their home games in chicago. Uh, what else. The arena will be destroyed by an asteroid on the eve of the deciding game seven thus wiping the team, fans and entire NHL off the face of the earth. Kiss my (knock on wood) ass. |

Ottawa sucks ass. We own them. WE OWN OTTAWA. THE SENATURDS SUCK! WE OWN THEM ALWAYS AND FOREVER. THEY WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER DEFEAT US. IN FACT, THE SENATORS AREN'T EVEN A TIER 1 NHL TEAM. THEY SHOULD PLAY IN THE AHL, BECAUSE THEY SUCK SO BAD. Spezza sucks. Alfredson sucks. Elliot sucks. Neil sucks. Fisher sucks. Ruutu sucks. Spezza so nasty he made speed stick slow down. Alfredson so nasty he brings crabs to the beach. Elliot so nasty he made right guard turn left. Neil so nasty the fishery be paying him to leave Fisher so nasty he has to creep up on bathwater. Ruutu so nasty I called him to say hello, and he ended up giving me an ear infection. |

To be fair, this isn't a pre game hype thread, therefore it's fair game. Besides, I'm so immune to losing to Ottawa at this point I could care less. I'll try anything to snap out of it, even if it means breaking my normal routines. |
