"Patty was sick last night but he should make the flight," Ruff said before the team departed for Boston. "We'll have to see where he's at later today. We had a plan. We might have to alter the plan right now."

Well that would be a big bummer if Lalime can't start against Boston. Miller said in his post-game interview that he was hoping to get some rest now that the Sabres have clinched the division. I was hoping that Lalime would get the nod for 2 of the 3 games remaining, so Ryan can enter the playoffs with some much needed rest.

The article also says that Rivet is back and that Vanek could be inserted into the lineup Saturday against the Sens, while Connolly still isn't ready.

Didn't we have another goalie prospect? Ryan Dennis or something like that? Drafted before Lalime?

Well on the Rags feed they mentioned Rivet was out last night with the flu...it's probably just going around.

put the pads on Myers and just tell him to sit in the butterfly position all night...I bet he puts up good numbers ;)

We could get retarded and call up JP Lamoureux, but I don't think that'd go over so well.

dont you remember? people are saying he is going to be the next hasek!

(seriously, remember when he was signed, and a bunch of people were all.. LOOK AT HIS ECHL STATS! THIS KID IS GOING TO BE LIKE HASEK!" they truly believed he had a ton of potential.)

The ONE time Miller actually voiced the need for some rest and BAM!

Here's an idea:

FORFEIT the next 3 games and get Miller rest and the team some intensive practice!

Stop worrying about playing #6. Have a well rested team...and especially goalie.

Sabres are 25-10-6 at home this year. They're 19-15-4 on the road. I'd like to see them get home ice for as long as possible.

I think the whole team should give Lalime a big, wet tongue kiss.

Why?

Because the WHOLE TEAM needs to get this flu and have it overwith by the end of next week!

Seriously, if there was ever a BAD TIME to have a flu breakout, IT'S NOW!!!

Just trade out for the whole Pirates lineup these next 3 games.

Put conehead in net.
