![]() http://sabres.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=524347 Quote: Steve Montador first sported the look. Then players like Nathan Gerbe and Drew Stafford followed suit… well suit coat anyway. That’s because the latest trend at HSBC Arena is a simple white jacket that is currently serving more as a motivational device than a style accessory. “It came from a collaboration of players and coaches to try and have something you can have fun with,” Head Coach Lindy Ruff said. In short, it’s the successor to The Pigeon. |

I am angry that Tyler Ennis is not sporting it. |

Ennis should have gotten it yesterday. Regardless, I like it. It helps keep the dressing room a little light, without it being a comedy club. |

+2 to Ennis deserving to wear it. Oh, how I miss Spacho and his antics. |

As a motivational device, give it to Staffy. Ennis doesn't seem to need it. |

I think they gave it to Drew because they all know how much he's been struggling and his goal must have been such a huge weight lifted off his shoulders. |

I get it. Stafford is very well liked by the team, and I think he needs the confidence booster more than Ennis does, who obviously has no problem playing sure of himself. If anything, it'll drive our rookie to work harder to earn the jacket. |
