When the Sabres are battling for a bottom playoff seed it's: No anything can't happen, they'll get smoked by Boston, Montreal, whomever. Their record against them doesn't matter. When they earn a top three seed its: ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN OH NOES! BOSTON IS 4-2 AGAINST US! |

Why is this being hashed and rehashed?? It doesn't matter what seed you are, it's hard to win a playoff series. Nobody is a push-over. You have to make plays and be clutch. |

I do think, though, in general, not when it comes to making predictions but when it comes to acknowledging that anything can happen in a genuine way and not just as a concession... I think that happens less with Buffalo fans than with fans of some other teams. |
