I was thinking today of all our sabres traditions, of which I have no shortage after placing a friendly bet with a coworker on the outcome of the boston series. And I thought, damn, there goes my insistence that you never gamble on your team. (Though $10 can hardly be described as gambling). And then I thought, how well has that superstition worked out for me so far? Oh...right. So let's get a giant imaginary trash bin and throw all of our superstitions in it because to this day they have brought us precisely dick. Let's go win the old fashioned way. Deafening home crowds and determination. I believe Rick. I believe. |

I agree about the superstition part. It's fucking rubbish, get over it everyone. Goalies dont let in a goal because someone somewhere said "I wonder if he'll have a shutout", teams dont lose playoff series because someone put money on it, etc etc etc. Sorry Irony, but superstition is not going to decide jack shit, our boys determination and preparation (or lack thereof) will. |

I also want to the Bruins and every other team who comes to HSBC Arena to hear the fans outside . I want it to be so loud it sounds like we stole the Colts' piped-in crowd sound. |

We have not had a playoff game in HSBC in 2 years.....I got a feeling they will be loud....all the more reason that our home ice advantage should help us....Though that Sat 1pm game still pisses me off....That's too early to get really drunk and rowdy |

No way we are from buffalo arnt we?? We get up early every sunday from sep-dec, only differnce here is its nicer out than most football games and a much better chance of victory with the Sabres!! Let's Go Buffalo!! |
