The Sabres Power play needs to be a factor in the postseason in order to have any chance of moving on. Let's face it the powerplay has been horrible the last few years and teams that advance in the playoffs get timely goal scoring, great goaltending and excellent special teams. It's an area which Buffalo needs to address and if they can't start producing this postseason then they need to pick someone up in the draft or free agency! |

The power play does suck and has sucked for a very long time....Face it, it's too late at this point in the season to "fix" it...ain't gonna happen.....they had all season to work on it and look where it is..... I think it's time for Ruff to find a new assistant |

I think it's time for Ruff to find a new assistant I think this team needs a powerplay specialist and I couldn't agree more about Ruff finding a new assistant. I'm not a big fan of James Patrick. Was a mediocre player in the day anyway. |

I don't understand why we try and enter the zone 75% of the time the same way. Get it deep work it around and MOVE AROUND YOURSELVES. Don't just stand there and pass. Skate around that's why they are tied to ur feet. |

Dump it in and win the forecheck! stop the fancy crap ... if they stand you up or are playing high to the blueline, play some dump and run, grind it out and win the battles down low!!!!!! |

How long have the Sabres struggled with the powerplay? Years. This is a systemic problem that needs to be addressed through coaching and personel moves. |

I've always wondered why Patrick and the players continually go to the drop pass/enter the zone strategy when it obviously does not work. I know they can win the puck battles a majority of the time, so dump it in and fight for the puck. |

Sabres powerplay is killing us this postseason and if they want to get back in this series and move on they have to find a way to score on the powerplay. |
