Quote:
BOSTON -- Drew Stafford has apparently passed his concussion testing because he's on the ice here in TD Garden and skating on a line with Tyler Ennis and Tim Connolly. Jochen Hecht is watching practice from the bench in street clothes. No sign of Thomas Vanek.

Stafford is working on a power play unit right now with Derek Roy, Jason Pominville, Toni Lydman and Craig Rivet. The Buffalo captain is also a newcomer to the struggling unit, which is 0 for 9 in this series. The other PP unit is Connolly-Paul Gaustad-Tyler Ennis-Andrej Sekera-Tyler Myers.

More to come.

Please bring "throwing punches at Chris Neil" Stafford and not "there's a guy on our team named stafford?" Stafford.

I liked how he was playing before he got dropped.

At the very least, it'll be a mental boost for the rest of the team.

I do like players returning. I think it brings good energy, be it from the fact that there's another guy in the lineup or the inspired play (and I have no reason to believe Stafford won't be itching to throw his weight around) of that player.

Only if Stafford pretends he just came out of the press box again . . .

I was thinking the same thing too....but I am willing to give Stafford the benefit of the doubt....It's post season - a whole different animal now....Let's see if he can raise his game up.....

If he can't.....Then I want him off next season's roster along with Wuss ass Connolly

Tyler Myers - Future captain of the Buffalo Sabres, and future Norris Trophy Winner

Manning the machine gun on the Tyler Myers Bandwagon - just in case any teams have an idea of prying him away from us (3 GM's shot already)

Connolly/Roy - 2 goals in the last 47 playoff games

Bet he could outplay any of the Bruins in a guitar-off though. ;)

Him and Miller would dominate.

How about Stafford doesn't play like a liability, not attempts to murder people and we get a win? I don't like the idea of him gooning around and throwing elbows at peoples necks.

The NHL is debating over add the guitar-off instead of the shootout to next years rules.

For me, it depends on which Stafford shows up. Helen Keller like Stafford or the Beast like Stafford.
