Every friggin' team that had home-ice-advantage in the first round lost it in the first 2 games!

So much for the best laid plans.

So if the Sabres-Bruins series goes to game 7, and we win it, then we blew home ice advantage?

i think his point was that almost every series is 1-1 meaning that the Sabres weren't the only team to mess up having home ice the first 2 games.

Every series is tied except the only one that has played one game.

No team is gonna have home ice in the first round basically.

Having a tied series is fine with me. As long as they don't fall behind...

Home ice advantage only works if you WIN all your home games. Once you lose one, the majority of the remaining games are on the opponents ice.

THIS IS JUST FOR THE CURRENT ROUND. Once you move on to the next round, the seedings are adhered to once again in deciding who gets the majority of games at their home arena (a/k/a home-ice).

The Bruins have a losing record at home this year. The Sabres are also a better team. We get home ice advantage back by winning Monday night.

If the Sabres lose this series it will because they lost it in their heads.

Miller is better than Rask. Our goal scorers are better than anyone on Boston IMO, and guess what? Myers is better than Chara. The reason Chara has so many goals is because he throws it at the net and he gets lucky and the puck dodges around 5 people and in a little slot Miller can't see.

Plus, I love how Lydman is playing, he is better than a few Boston D and so is Rivet and Tallinder...

This team has a mental problem when other teams like to play rough or dirty. Hopefully it doesn't happen next game. We have the better team. We can do this.

Of all the goalies to try and rip, you pick the only one who has better numbers than Miller. You can argue Rask has played less games, but that DOES NOT mean Rask would do worse in the same amount of games. Pure conjecture on your part.

I'm glad you stuck "IMO" on the end, otherwise that is an absurd statement.

Myers is better than Chara now? Really? Yes, Myers is extremely good FOR A ROOKIE, but he still makes plenty of mistakes out there. He has a very promising career ahead of him and doesn't need such exagerrated praise to be well-thought-of. Careful with the homer hyperbole.

Careful. The Bruins are 2nd only to the Devils in fewest goals allowed. Their D is pretty solid. Among others, you can thank Chara for that---of course, according to you, he may perhaps be able to pick up a few pointers from Myers :D

So you need it all explained to you, is that what you're getting at?

Have a problem with what I pointed out? Feel free to address THAT instead of leveling a gratuitous insult.

Okay, so Miller isn't better than Rask? Obviously he is... Look at his play. No one can doubt he is better than Rask right now. Rask is good, but Miller is better.
Guess what? Pominville and Roy did WAY better than most of the guys on Boston. Hecht would be their second best goalscorer in the season! Best point leader was 53 points!
Myers is a better skater than Chara. No doubt. They are actually pretty even.
And the reason the Bruins are only second to the Devils in FGA is because those teams both play the trap. That's why the B's have so few goals. Sturm has 22, most goals a Bruin had.

36 hours ago, id have agreed. but seeing a 2-0 lead evaporate, and a third period lead blown... buffalo was in the drivers seat of this series, and now the bruins have momentum going back to boston, and buffalo struggles on the road.

its tough to keep your chin up when this happens. but we all have to, and they have to as well.

Buffalo has the all around better team than Boston but Boston's system works so well for them that is becomes a bitch to against them. Our offense is better (Well, should be better) and their defense is Chara plus some kids from the AHL, there is no reason we shouldnt be out playing them. They are hardly using their size to their advantage so we should be able to handle them, it is all on account of if the Sabres want it. Rask is a great goalie but Miller is better and if everyone cooperates with each other then there is no reason why we should lose.
