If there are any positives to be taken from this series, let's take them out now. I see... - Toni Lydman being a fucking ROCK, playing like it was 2006 all over again. What is this team gonna do without him when they invariably let him walk this summer? - Tyler Myers getting better and better (only one turnover today!). Just keep improving kid. - Mike Grier being the Mike Grier who we loved as a Sabre until he left in 2006. There's only one word for this guy - warrior. |

positives: Ennis showing he can play a two way game. Grier. Miller. Since it's positive things i won't mention negatives. |

I agree with all 3 of those but I'm just wondering if Buffalo lets Lydman and Tallinder walk I think they will take a step backward on defense. I know Weber is ready but I don't know about anyone else. Should be an interesting offseason because I want to see what happens with Lydman and Tallinder if the sabres let both walk who fills their spot. Does Butler and Weber fill their spots? This team is also lacking some forwards that are skilled and have size and it's getting exposed big time by Boston. The whole Northeast Division is becoming like the old Adams division and this team needs to get a #1 line. |

I would hope that if the Sabres let Tallinder and Lydman both walk and Weber is up that they would use the cap space those moves would create to go after a stud d-man via trade. |

I see them keeping Hank, letting Toni walk and bringing up weber. Just more ho-hum as usual. I also love that we have montador for another year at 1.5....thats turning out to be a great deal by Darcy. If we let Toni leave, and Hank is willing to stay for 2.5, thats almost 4.25 million in savings. That money, along with a possible move of Stafford (2.3 million) would free up the cash to make that kinda move, that is if I were GM, lol. |

Watching the way this series is going, I'm not sure if I'm ready to give up on Stafford. He's a big body that just needs to learn which lanes to take. I'm not ready to get rid of size right now. Stafford's a strong dude. |

He plays soft and timid for weeks at a time, then plays a single good game and people rave about his potential. He's a bigger Clarke MacArthur; just happy to be collecting a check. |

Honestly, I'd say were a good year, probably 2 from seeing Kassian in a Sabres jersey. This off season though, Regier will have the money to sign free agents, a luxury he hasn't had in the past 3, we could see a guy come in that fits that mold |

The best positive from this series is a higher draft position. |

Miller has been good, at least in games 1 and 3. |

I almost wonder how long Boston can sustain the level of play that they've had in the first three games of the series. In game three they were flubbing nearly as many passes and whiffing on shots as we were. It looks to me like the fear of making a mistake and blowing a game is riding hig on both teams' minds. |

New respect for Rivet for sitting Ference on his ass when he was chirping to the refs. New respect for Vanek because, before the injury, he was tearing the place up and it looked like he was having fun out there for the first time in a long time. |

Knocking Ferrence over was pretty priceless. Boston has no reaosn to chirp to the refs about anything this series. |

His body is ready, the kid bangs with the best of em, fights and pretty much is a bigger, more skilled version of Kaleta. He makes this team. Write that down, lol |
