- Toni Lydman being a fucking ROCK, playing like it was 2006 all over again. What is this team gonna do without him when they invariably let him walk this summer?
- Tyler Myers getting better and better (only one turnover today!). Just keep improving kid.
- Mike Grier being the Mike Grier who we loved as a Sabre until he left in 2006. There's only one word for this guy - warrior.

I agree with all 3 of those but I'm just wondering if Buffalo lets Lydman and Tallinder walk I think they will take a step backward on defense. I know Weber is ready but I don't know about anyone else. Should be an interesting offseason because I want to see what happens with Lydman and Tallinder if the sabres let both walk who fills their spot. Does Butler and Weber fill their spots? This team is also lacking some forwards that are skilled and have size and it's getting exposed big time by Boston. The whole Northeast Division is becoming like the old Adams division and this team needs to get a #1 line.

I would hope that if the Sabres let Tallinder and Lydman both walk and Weber is up that they would use the cap space those moves would create to go after a stud d-man via trade.

Watching the way this series is going, I'm not sure if I'm ready to give up on Stafford. He's a big body that just needs to learn which lanes to take.

I'm not ready to get rid of size right now. Stafford's a strong dude.

He's had years to learn this, and hasn't. He plays soft and timid for weeks at a time, then plays a single good game and people rave about his potential.

He's a bigger Clarke MacArthur; just happy to be collecting a check.
