I can't say too much since I haven't seen it yet, but based on 4 pages of Facebook updates, 30 people at the gym, and people here that NEVER talk about the officials, I think I'll agree.

Its true that the officiating cost them the game... but regardless we had plenty of opportunities to come back and score again and we didnt... sometimes this team can not finish. But the refs were the major problem with this game. |

Great outing by our team. They did me proud tonight. What else can I say? I think they can still do us proud. Remember when the oilers came back from a 3-1 deficit in the Stanley cup finals before they lost to the canes in game seven? And they did two on the road... |

Some reporter made a comment about the Sabres blowing the game and Lindy flipped on him about how they didn't blow it and then added that. |

Are the officials static throughout each series? If so, I think the NHL needs to break this trend. There has to be more to this than the refs just not seeing things. |

It was fucking disgraceful. Tell me HOW that penatly on McCormick was goaltender interference? And the penalty on Kaleta because of his hit on Lucic is just bush league, plain and simple. And the fact that the refs are protected by the league and not questioned by their bogus calls is infuriating. The players and coaches can't say shit about it if they don't want to get fined. Well fuck that. |
