I know Boston looked tired... and the rest will do them good as well, BUT I think it will better for the Sabres... Vanek may be closer to a return... Timmy C a chance to get a little healthier... The question I have is what do you do with the line-up if Vanek returns? Sit Staff?

I like Ennis-Gerbe-McCormick.... But it will probably be Gerbe or McCormick sitting...

HA!!!! That made me laugh.... I know he is coming off injury as well, but still, all year he's been playing with a purse... lindy should paint ALL of Stafford's sticks pink... and make him use a pink stick until he stops playing like a girl... no offense ladies...

I have no problem sitting Stafford, just saying I think Pominville is tied for the team lead with two goals.

Totally agree.... if you have points in the series... you stay... I even thought Timmy C showed a little more burst last night... he could be getting healthier and last night was the best ive seen him play in the series... gotta keep him rolling and he just needs to shoot a little more!!!

I noticed Connolly looked at a lot better. He came so close to scoring on that rebound on the power play, just an inch lower and that bad boy is in instead of off the post. I think there were a few times where he over stick handled, but he looked a lot better than games 1-4.

Definitely agree on Connolly. I thought there were times even in game 4 where he showed flashes, they were just all too brief and largely overshadowed by bad play.

Connelly played very good in Game 5, I expect him to be back in top form for Game 6!!

Connolly had a decent game last night but he also turned the puck over twice in one shift and it ended up Boston getting some chances. Hopefully another couple of days rest will help Connolly and get Vanek back in the lineup. If we win game 6 HSBC will be rockin on Wednesday night. Lets go Buffalo.
