Happen to catch this little gem in Bucky's offering this morning: Quote: If you're looking for a scathing rant complete with heads on platters and calls for radical change, you came to the wrong place. Today isn't about tearing apart the Sabres after they fell to the Bruins in six games. Grier knows they're going in the right direction, which is why the consummate professional hopes to sign a contract extension in the next few weeks. This makes me VERY happy if it's true. |

Wow, I really hope so. Grier's the man. He was one of the only vets who showed up during the series and took care of business, while a bunch of our other experienced guys were a fucking joke. |

No surprise, especially after his playoff effort. I've been assuming Grier would return, it's just a matter of whether it's for one or two more years. I wonder if Ellis comes back as well. |
