After reading Squanto lamenting how sorry he was for offering that "cock" Connolly a beer, preferring instead to "kick him in the teeth", it set me to thinking: Has anybody else had an encounter with a Sabre, memorable or not.

My closest encounter was when Staford looked toward the section I was sitting in once. He was then inspired to not score a goal. That's about it!

By the way, Squanto, what was that beer story anyway?

I was at Spot on Chippewa and Delaware when my girlfriend noticed Goose walking by.

Most people spot Miller or Goose on Elmwood or at Wegman's.

Hmm.
I saw Spacek at Wegman's once. He was buying Poptarts
And just last month I volunteered at a children's carnival and none other than Teppo Numminen brought his kids. We exchanged pleasantries/small talk, I think he knew I recognized him, on account of the fact I had my Sabres hat on.

Wegman's, seemingly, is where most Sabres have been spotted haha!

I would love to talk to Teppo in the wild...he seems like a guy who can hold a great convo.

Me and my cousin sat in front of Drew Stafford signing autographs for a while. Behind the rope right in his face just yelling "DREW! DREW! STAFFORD! STAFFORD!" then we left

Mike, Wegman's is a Rochester-based but prevalent-in-Buffalo grocery store. It's huge, and sooooo nice. Damn classy groceries.

Wegman's is the best. Better than Tops at the very least.

I see Dixon Ward quite a bit. Thats as close as I'll get unless some of the players start vacationing in Kelowna.

I see them a lot, actually. Just out and about... A lot of them come into where I work. I usually don't say much other than, "Good luck this season." or something of that nature. Sometimes I give them free movie tickets if I can do it without getting caught (I work at a movie theatre).

I see Ryan Miller and Drew Stafford the most. Stafford comes into where I work the most out of any other Sabre. And Ryan lives in the same area where a lot of my friends live and sort of around where I go to school so I'm down in that area a lot. We have a few mutual friends/acquaintances and I go to his Catwalk for Charity events every year and I talk to him there. But I usually don't approach him or whatever when he's out because I'm sure he gets that every single time he goes out, so I like to respect his privacy.

I actually just saw him yesterday and he still had the porn stache... Was really disappointed when I saw that he shaved today in his locker clean out interview.

UMMMM... It's the most amazing grocery store ever. EVARRRRR. I love Wegmans so much. It's funny because whenever I talk to someone who has moved away from Buffalo, they always talk about how much they miss Wegmans haha.
