Pominville probably got invited but declined. He's said he wants to spend time as a daddy cuz he hasn't had an extended chance to do so yet. |

He's always had dual citizenship. He chose to play for the US in the 2008 World Championships. He would have to go through a waiting period to play for Team Canada should he want to switch. I suspect that he played for the US team since he had a better chance of actually making it. |

Learning and practicing to be a better face-off man you can do even if small. |
