I thought they were making our third jerseys from last season into our new standard home/away sweaters...?

Does this then mean that Miller will have to redesign his helmet now that the Buffalo on there is TWO logos removed from what we were doing?

Wait...what does this mean?

"The 40th anniversary jersey will now serve as the team’s alternate jersey"

So does that mean the slug is still the main jersey???

Miller's mask can be based on whatever he wants it to be based on. His mask is a buffalo's head...and since we're the Buffalo Sabres, it will always be relevant regardless of our logo.

it already has been announcedish that the 09 third is going to be the home, and a white away so its a brandie new one thats the 40th and the third

They also have the following banner on the test site that looks hot : I tried working Scott a little bit about the jerseys too, but he wouldn't say anything. :p I suspect we'll see this logo a lot this year.

I have one of the wool RBK/Roger & Edwards Sabres jerseys/sweaters and they used a cream color felt for the Buffalo as well as the Sabres for the logo. It really does make the logo look uberultraawesomejizzworthy. I hate how tight lipped everyone is about our new duds. A buddy of mine even tried to get this info from the RBK rep at a sales convention about a month ago or so (He runs a sports store here in town) and all that was in their new ordering book was our current 3rds listed as the new home. The 3rd and the new road/white were TBD. Well, he tried calling for some updates on the Sabres as well as other clubs that hadn't published their new designs at the time the book was run, and they're not producing any updated material until after the season starts and that whatever some teams have chosen to "Leak" to the public is up to them. Not RBK. but I did get a look see at some other pretty awesome gear for the Blue & Gold this season! I may have to trash all of my regular sweaters for hoodies because there are so many to pick from!

Why? There's no rule that says he has to. Lalime has Marvin The fucking Martian on his mask, so I don't think it matters.

I was going to say, if we're going to start doing one off third jerseys EVERY year, we might as well move to Montreal and throw endless 40th anniversary events/pre game things.
