#1? Crosby
#2? Ovechkin
#3? Miller

Quote:
"You look at Ryan Miller and wonder how that skinny body fits into the Superman costume. There may be no team in the league that relies on one player more than the Buffalo Sabres lean on Miller. He has incredible athleticism and agility, and his cerebral approach to the game often gives him an edge over opposition shooters. A budding photographer whose work adorns the chambers of a prominent Buffalo judge, Miller is a workhorse."

Of course, Crosby is number one. They suck his dick so much.

(He's Canadian)

But Miller is where he should be. He is truly the best goaltender in the league (well last season).

I see no problem putting Crosby or Ovechkin ahead of Miller. So I agree...Miller at #3 sounds just fine to me.

Meh, I overreacted. Crosby and Ovechkin are close in talent. It's their opinion.

I like Ovie over Crosby but if you look at achievements of each, the only leg up Ovie has over Crosby is the Calder and compared to what Crosby has done, that aint much.

How does that consider which one is better? I hate when people say that. It's nothing. The cup was won by the TEAM. THE TEAM.

Not directed toward you only, hockeyplaya. So many people think Crosby is better just because he won a cup.

Ovechkin>>>Crosby as far as talent goes

Crosby just gets his dick sucked more because they said he was the next great one, which has proved to be completely untrue.. Of course they'll say hes the next great one, he was a talented canadian in college ranks. You find the same talent in a college american, you've got a possible late first rounder...

Yeah. Just because Crosby won a cup, he's better. It's dumb. Without him, they might have still won it, maybe gotten to the cup instead.

Its not all about achievements but its not all about individual skill either. When I think of a player I think of a player who has combined these two necessities to be successful in the NHL. Now when people say that Ovechkin is miles better than Crosby then they are just being ignorant, though Ovechkin does have better individual skill and finesse, Crosby has a better ability to lead and read a play to involve everyone in o the play to create more opportunities for the puck to go in the net and that does not necessarily mean he will put it in.

Crosby also has a better monkey ball cock punch than Ovie.

They play different styles so I think it's hard to say one or the other is better. And that 'college american' claim is stupid.

Ovechkin

Better at hitting
Scoring
Faster (IMHO)
Better puck handling

Crosby

Passing
Leader
Better fighter (I guess? Never seen Ovechkin fight)

IDK anymore for Crosby. Better team player? That's leader right?

I disagree, in ten less games last year, Ovechkin managed to score 50 goals and 109 points. Had he played in all 82 games, he surely would have had 55+ goals and 115+ points.

It took Crosby 82 games to score 51 goals and 109 points.

To win a cup is a team effort, and Malkin was sure the biggest reason they won the cup, he dominated in almost all the games that, year, but their defense should be hugely attributed to winning that cup also, not because of what Crosby did singlehandedly.

Ovechkin has a 1.34 PPG
Crosby has a 1.36 PPG

I don't understand how that could happen, but looking back at it now, it was because Crosby had the one year where he dominated scoring well his passing was superb, his 120 point year was his highest PPG.

And Ovechkin had one bad year with 92 points in 82 games. But other then that year , Ovechkin has had a higher PPG average then Crosby has. So 4 out of 5 seasons, and has scored more goals 4 out of 5 seasons.

You see where I'm going with this, but I don't care about stats, let them just get into a fight and see who would win.

Also with the 28 games Ovechkin has played in the playoffs, he has 40 points, good for a 1.43PPG and Crosby has 82 points in 62 games, good for a 1.33PPG, so it seems to me, Ovechkin really does step his game up in the playoffs, and Crosby just plays like he normally does.

Ovechkin for me is more entertaining as well. The media makes him seem like an asshole, which he kind of is, but they never show Sidney's douche bad moments.

People can call Ovechkin a cheap shot and dirty bastard but Crosby is an angel with a golden asshole (Thanks southpark)?
