I like Ellis too. However, I don't like being told that they had to let Kennedy go over 200k because they were 'over budget', but they somehow found the money to sign Ellis. |

Ellis is now the 14th forward. Odds have to be good that Gerbe starts in Portland now. |

LQ's title is Managing Partner. BTG is still the majority owner, and could remove him from that position, but then he would actually have to have an interested and active ownership role, which is not something he seems interested in doing. As much as we all hate it, LQ is going nowhere unless he decides he wants to go somewhere, or he's bought out via a sale or by BTG. |

I'd take Ellis over Kennedy any day. I just plain DID NOT like Kennedy AT ALL. |

If he doesn't shine in camp, then what exactly has Gerbe done to make anyone believe he should be sniffing an NHL roster? |

Random question but with so many forwards being loaded up is there a chance that Darcy may have a trade up his sleave? Just wondering. Nothing huge or earth shattering but just a way to dump some salary or dump a forward or two. |
