The only game not in HD is 12/21 vs Anaheim, but that one won't be on TV at all. Apparently Versus has an exclusive broadcast window for this game and it won't be on anywhere. (I'll be looking into that, seems odd.)

I don't know what this means for you Center Ice folks, or Caro on FIOS. I sent an email to someone I know who might know about this to see what I can come up with.

Also listed in the link is the broadcast teams for the year. RJ is taking his vacation around the west coast trip again. We get:

Mark Jeanneret : 12/27 @ Calgary, 12/28 @ Edmonton
Kevin Sylvester : 1/1 vs Boston, 1/4 @ Colorado, 1/6 @ San Jose, 1/8 @ Phoenix

Dan Dunleavy from FAN590 is also covering 1/25 in Ottawa.

Harry Neale is on for the whole season, no breaks for that old coot. :)

Last year on center ice it seemed whenever we'd get HD games they were the non-MSG broadcast.
It'll be interesting to see what happens this year as I believe I have yet to see a Sabres game on MSG in HD.

Of course I'd get Rags games in HD from MSG because they like fucking with me. :lol:

That makes sense. MSG wasn't really doing any HD production for Sabres games away. The NYR/NYI/NJD away games were simply the normal MSG HD feed with the alternate audio.

From what I'm told, MSG is now doing a full HD setup for the road games, so what gets sent back to Buffalo to connect to DirecTV/Dish/TWC is now a full HD feed. If that's the case, they should also be pumping that feed to Center Ice, so you'd think anyways.

Center ice had two HD channels in their set of channels on my Comcast Center Ice service last year. That means someone at Center Ice or Comcast would choose which games were broadcast in HD. From my experience, that menat the HD games were Usually Boston or Pittsburgh in the east, and often San Jose in the west. The only times I ever got to see Buffalo play in HD were on NESN and FOX Sports out of various cities, never on MSG. Hope that changes.

Exact same thing with me, except I have TWC. I really hope it's different this year, otherwise I'll just have to wait for the VS broadcasts to be able to watch in HD again.

Stupid that the Anaheim game is blacked out - but I'll also be at that game, so doesn't matter to me. Good thing it's a value game!

About time we get them all in HD though!

Man I have hated that my only choice for HD has been suffering through Versus games. It's a terrible choice. HD....but only if you can stand the team off ass clowns they have "announcing".....or as I call it...."making my brain hurt"....aka "Pulling a Madden".
