With Pommers out, most likely for a couple of weeks, it looks like the little guy is finally getting his chance...

How will the top-6 look?

Ennis-Roy-Staff
Van-Conolly-Gerbe

Vanek played right wing after the Pominville injury.

Ennis - Roy - Vanek
Gerbe - Connolly - Stafford

Vanek and Stafford could be switched.

That's really a small and soft top 6 but the skill is there.

I like this post. I am pulling for Gerbe as well.

But I miss Pommer's, for as much bitching I have done about him over the last 2 seasons, I already miss his presence on the penalty kill and transitional game with Connolly.

Here's to a speedy recovery for Pomm's and here is to a successful run by Gerbe. My hope is Gerbe shows us all how its done.

I'm happy for Gerbe, and I think he'll bring a spark.

Yeah, not to disparage our newly injured player...but, I think Gerbe brings a spark and intensity that i've only seen ONCE in pominville (that OT goal vs ottawa in 05/06).

I look forward to seeing the little guy, hopefully he can be the catalyst to get this team moving and motivated.

Gerbe is on the 3rd line

(Who predicted that top six in last night's GDT?)

I expect him to lose the puck often, get rubbed out along the boards, and generally be invisible.

I hope I'm wrong.

I would rather have Connolly and Roy switched actually.

As I said in the GDT, the call on Rivet was horseshit. The Bruins player was holding onto Rivet's stick like it was the last fucking raft on the Titanic.
