http://www.wgr550.com/Gaustad-is-a-switch-hitter-on-the-draws/8405276 So Goose taught himself to take draws with his off-hand and he's winning with it? Holy shit. Also, since that article was published three days ago, Rob Niedermayer's percentage improved from 46 to 52. |

Yeah, I remember hearing an interview on WGR on the way into Buffalo for the first Blackhawks game. His reasoning was that he didn't want to be limited against certain faceoff opponents. |

Now other players in the league are going to start doing it. Goose is a trend setter. |

If only TC cared a quarter as much as Goose about faceoffs... |

Mark my words, Tim Connolly wont be on this Roster by the trade deadline. Ruff and Darcy have hinted they wanted to sign Koivu, and Cullen this off season, but were unable to sign them. Darcy also hinted that he's been watching players around the league on WGR. In an interview he suggested he's watched Edmonton, Anahiem, and LA. Making me believe they are trying to get him gone, as soon as his value raises up a bit. Goose is a hard working guy, I wouldnt mind keeping him around for a few more years, but no way in hell at the salary he's making now. Also, Luke Adam 10 points in 8 games in the AHL...he's gotta be raising some eyebrows in Buffalo. |

Problem with Goose is that it's almost unheard of for a player to stay with the same team AND take less money. |

Connolly started the year above 50% on faceoffs, but quickly went to shit. |

The team was tops in the league the first few games in FO%. We were at one point like 58% or something. |
