I think what most are pissed about when it comes to his play, even late last season is that when the Sabres backs are against the wall, he does his best impression of this movie icon...

Why all the hate directed at Tim Connolly? He had the best season of his career last year, and while he hasn't been GREAT so far this season, he certainly hasn't been terrible. He'll pick it up, we're only 10 games in. |

Because right now the team can't generate any offense, so people are naturally going to go after the players on the team who are supposed to provide us offense but aren't. |

I seem to remember a lot of Connolly-bashing going on even late last season, when he was putting up great numbers. The guy is a true playmaker, I love watching him work the halfwall on the PP.
