i knew they would suck, but i didn't know they would suck this badly. what's worse than tyler myers turning the puck over? tyler myers almost turning the puck over, only to have it stripped away from him... you know the rest. |

Not sure they will recover at all this season. Sad state of affairs in Buffalo this year. Bills suck, which everyone on earth knew they would. Sabres suck, no one thought they would. Such a disappointment. I was really pumped for Sabres hockey to start.

I guess I should expand my comments, back to my original thought, which is to trade as many players as we can for draft picks and prospects Phil I don't know about you, but I call it a rebuild. Yea not a fan of a fire-sale yet. Change needs to happen at the very, very top - Goli needs to buy out the Lawrence's minority stock in the team and fire him, then hire a VP that is a hockey man and not a business man. THEN, things will change. |

Aside from occasionally checking in on the score, I missed the game as we were having a Halloween party so I can't really voice my opinions about how they played. From the level headed/non homeriffic posts I've flipped through and from some articles online recapping the game, I'm kind of glad I missed it. The meat of this post could likely go in the thread about Lindy being shit canned, but meh. I'm lazy and hung over as shit. There is a nice frustrating read over at TBN about what Phil had mentioned. The whole cleaning house thing. I mentioned frustrating because of the facts which it points out to be possible truths about people moving, being fired, bought out or what have you. Ruff teetered before the lockout and recovered, so it would be foolish to believe he'll be sent packing in the near future. Even then, you would likely see General Manager Darcy Regier make a desperate attempt to save him. Anyone expecting a big blow up anytime soon may unfortunately be disappointed.
