Might as well send Myers and Ennis with him. Don't poison the talent... |

The lazy, uninspired part of this team known as "the core", or better known as "the 10 minute boys" due to the amount they actually show up each game. They are infamously known as "Regiers Rat Pack" or "Lindy's Lovables". But in all seriousness, chemistry isn't there, never truly has been. Hell, the closest I've seen to chemistry on this team in the last 4 seasons has been the Hecht-Connolly-Pomminville line, and thats a scary thought in itself. It is time to say goodbye to Regier and Ruff. This will most likely be their last season with the Sabres. |

What if the problems with the leadership in the locker room? What if the problem is with the strength and conditioning coach? Maybe Pominville was a huge leader in the locker room, and this has been lost without his presence on the ice? Maybe Rivet has lost his touch as "Oh captain my captain"? It seems during the offseason, the Sabres changed their playing style because they saw it wasn't getting them very far in the playoffs, and as Rivet said in his interview, they're all still trying to make this system work and it's been a challenge. Maybe Miller's going to have an average season, and their new style of play hinges on Miller bailing them out here while they're learning it, and it's just not gelling? I'm not exactly scared of this losing streak only because the season is still young. If we get to winter classic and things haven't gotten better, then maybe I'll go BUFFCON 3. |

Anybody who doesn't think Regier or Ruff are a problem are clearly delusional. This pretty much comes down to coaching at this point. We know how much talent we have, and we've seen it before. The Sabres shouldn't be this bad. |
