Not a bad SOG advantage after three games. If that keeps up pucks will go in eventually. I won't necessarily expect that advantage to keep pace, but normally they get outshot the last two years, so it's a nice change.

In fairness, despite the shot advantage the other teams have had almost the same quality scoring chances. With Miller though, equal or better in that category is a win.

Yeah, those are red wing-like numbers. I wouldn't mind us pulling up and being a bit more selective in those shots though.

116-4...that's the ratio sog to goals. I know it's hard to get it in the net but that's not a good ratio...They need to find a way to get it in the net

Ice is right...the powerplay woes are keeping the goal totals down. Also, with weaker goalies will be higher goals-for totals.

Jason LaBarbera is not a great goalie. Nor is Carey Price. I'd say we've played against one good goalie, one mediocre goalie and one great goalie.

While it's encouraging, it's not going to play out like this once we play some of the better teams.

Still; we had a tendency to fall asleep against the weaker teams over the last two years; so this is a good sign. :!:

OK, fuck that noise. I cannot find compiled face-off numbers anywhere, and I am not feeling doing the work myself. Someone else wanna do it? :lol:
