Vanek and Connolly, imo. What do you guys think? I'm not advocating, just coming up with a discussion topic for a few days.

I disagree with Vanek, he may not be scoring goals, but he has set up numerous goals, Ennis goal last night was all because of Vanek, and Roy's goal the other night was from a pass from Vanek to get into the zone.

And Had they scored in OT, that would have been all Vanek's credit even if he didn't shoot the puck.

Connolly, I agree with, but the Hecht, Connolly, Pominville line played really well last night, same with our Third line.

I think Hecht and Pominville played well. Our third line was as great as we could expect them to be.

Not sure, I don't think I remember seeing him on the ice after he got hit.

Yea, he went right back out and did a Kaleta after he got hurt.

I'm not so sure how much he played after that since I hardly saw our Fourth line out there.

Honestly, I think there's a huge drop off between the top two lines and the 3rd and 4th lines as far as level of play. Anybody on the 3rd or 4th could be scratched and I'd be OK with it. Gaustad has probably been the most ineffective in my mind and has really only been a positive on face-offs. Kaleta isn't causing a lot of penalties or putting fear into the opposition. Niedermayer has been average at best. Then of course Connolly and Rivet (who already has been a healthy scratch) could qualify as well. Any of those guys gets replaced by a Gerbe or Weber and it won't bother me.

I'm thinking Connolly. As a side note, should I dump Timmy from my fantasy roster and try to pick up anther center or do you think he'll turn it around?

I'd keep him. I think he's on his way to turning it around.

As much as we all hate his ass, he always seems to put together these streaks, and I think his is coming soon.

Kaleta hasn't impressed me this season.

Neids is the reason we got the tie yesterday. I thought he looked like one of our best forwards. He and Grier play well together cause they are so smart. If we could find someone to play with C and P I would love to have Hecht play with those 2. That line would tire out the other team so much the top players could start scorigf goals.

The worst part about Niedermayer is he's producing at barely below his usual pace.

Niedermayer had a ton of chances early on that he failed to put away and then just disappeared. I don't know what is more frustrating.

Vanek and Conolly, definitely. Myers is cautionary. Stafford would be on that list, but he "injured" himself into a scratch, so he does not pose any problems right now.

Tim Connolly, Craig Rivet, Drew Stafford and Darcy Regier all deserved to be healthy scratches.
