Very well deserved victory.

My game star for the Sabres: Ryan Miller! (He's back)
Roy/Vanek, the saga continues.
Connolly!!!!!! Really???????? Thanks for showing up for your once in 10 game appearance (you piece of "bleep")

Defense played balls up tonight. So many blocked shots. So many defensive zone heros. THANK YOU!
Sekera was straight out awsome tonight. Some mistakes, minor ones, but I truly believe Myers has found his line 1 partner.

No negativity tonight, it was a team win.
The only thing I ask, even though he had the game winner, is a Connolly trade. Please Lord, here me pray for this.

Great win by the team, great effort by the team. My hats off to them.

Ennis needs a finisher.

Now THAt is a relly ugly tradition they're starting and I would expect the fanbase to be outraged.

It will certainly make losses a little less painful.

Shyaddup, MJ is good. I'm not even really a huge fan (love the Jackson 5 more than MJ's music), but even still his songs make me want to sing along and bust a move.

Roy and Vanek need to be linemates forever. Four years of success and counting.

Good game. I liked Sekera's game minus a couple blunders. I thought Myers looked good too, and he played 27 mins. Good for him.

I'd love Connolly to score a couple more the next few game to get his trade value high. Wishful thinking.

Is it sad that the only thing I thought when Connolly scored wasn't anything good about the team, just that we had one more stupid reason to keep him out of the millions of other reasons not keep him? I literally shouted "NO!!!!" at the arena when I saw him score.

Sounds like they played a good game tonight then.

Funny, his songs make me want to put in a tampon, and I don't even have that kinda plumbing.

I went to the Penguins game vs. the Canes, it was the first time I seen Console Energy Center in all it's glory. It rocks! What an absolutely awesome facility! The ice is still shitty though, so hopefully Jeff Reed wont have to kick on it. It was a great game, they sell Nakamo sushi!! I had insane ($158 each, yeah that's I roll) seats and I took pictures but I don't feel like uploading.

I woke up and watched the game, and the fucking power play looked MUCH better. The missing ingredient was the shots from the point, they were not getting through enough. Tonight they did and that's a big reason why they got the two points. Roy did a great job as did Pomminville and yeah even Connolly made some good decisions. Vanek is a rock.

May I propose the Kaleta HT!? Goal. Penalty Draw. Big Hit.

Solid game by Miller, I don't think the 1st goal was soft, that was a great shot.

That's a save I'd like to see him make. Positioning was off a bit. Very unlike Miller.

But it was a killer shot.

Um. I don't really know what that was supposed to mean but it was kind of gross.

I looked at it again and you're right, he gave him way too much to shoot at on the stick side.

Caught the Vancouver game at the Console Energy Center. It is a great building! Best part is the TIM HORTON stand!!! Can you believe there are NO Tim Hortons in Pittsburgh! Gotta go to WV or OH to find a TIm's...
