Colin Stuart has 8g and 5a in 51 NHL games, all with the Thrashers which projects to 13g and 8a for an 82 game season. |

It is interesting to know how things work in the NHL. Reason why I've tried to understand all the waiver, FA, signing, AHL/NHL player age rules, when someone can be drafted and that. |

Possibly, because as far as I know, if a player isn't on IR they are considered the active roster, and if you go on IR you need to be on it for 7 days and that opens up a roster spot for a regular call-up. But even still you bring up an emergency call-up for a guy not on IR, I think that's how it works. And yes Van_Da_Man, I am a NERDORK!!!
