Last 9 games 0 goals, 6 assists, 5 games held without a point? 1 goal in the last 13 games... I think Roy is working hard and the points will come, it just amuses me how quickly some players can earn scapegoat status and how long it takes others. Even funnier is that Roy used to be one of those guys under the microscope, and now it's "oh he was in too tight," or "well Vanek should have shot the puck there." What happened? |

He's still at 28 points in 29 games. I can't be too critical of that pace. Would like to see more obviously, but that's not terrible. |

Right...........NOW! FUCK THAT MIDGET! Darcy is a complete failure for not realizing Roy would have a vaguely dry spell, he should have traded him for the sedin twins by now! It's ok though, everything will change when that new owner guy shows up. |

Some people like to pull out the "consistency" argument for some players. For the most part though, every player in the league collects points in chunks here and there. I know Darcy took heat for saying Roy and Connolly were top 20 centers. It's true for Roy. Whether he gets 82 pts or not, he still plays a solid game at both ends and is a big part of both special teams. |

Overall, I've been happy with our "skill" guys lately. It seems like they at least give a damn, which is refreshing. I'm curious to see if Connolly does anything whenever he inevitably returns. |
