I just saw that on NHL.com all 5 hghlights are about the sabres game last night, 3 of the 5 directly related to the sabres. Maybe we are finally geting some recognition?

...could also be that there were only two other games on. And they were both pretty lacklustre.

NHL.com does a nice job...

Of course watching Mike and Mike in the Morning, they have the 3 NHL scores on the bottom line. It displays the scores of the game and of course the only goal scoring note is for Tomas Holstrom.

Great; but it means nothing to me whether they acknowledge us as being a good team - or rating us as a poor team. Same holds true of all media. The one positive is we get to see highlites of our team more often...

The only measuring device of any relevance to me is how the team is performing on the ice. Well that and the approval of our board members regarding the teams performance.... :D

I don't give a rat's ass if they give us credit...in fact I prefer they don't. I'd rather fly under the radar all year than have the NHL cheer for us.

Like a few others said, I want the talking heads to ignore the Sabres. These boys need to play with a chip on their shoulders all season long.

I think I'd need a lobotomy to be able to listen to that show.

Let the league focus more on Ovi, the Bruins, Wings, the Maple Laffs ability to lose every game, Theo and the Canucks. Oh, and how many times the Habs will wear really ugly jerseys this season and against what teams. http://www.icethetics.info/

Our boys need to keep the blinders on and stay focused on what is infront of them. Lindy and the coaching staff better keep them on track. The first time anyone gets a big head about themselves it'll spread like a bad case of syphilis.

I remember from 05-07 it was all Buffalo on NHL.com... The past 2 years they have barely mentioned us(except the beginning of last year).. And I've noticed that this hot start has everyone talking about us again..

It was more Buffalo from when 06 started and through those playoffs. But 06-07 it was all us, dominating the league in almost every way.

I don't mind being mentioned or flying under the radar. As long as the players ignore it and keep focused on hockey, and a good coach should be able to handle that.

I'd rather the team get no respect so we can use it for a rally cry. Being lulled into superiority is bad stuff.
