I started this thread on HFBoards, but I don't know how many of you are on there. Here are all the ex Sabres I've thought of and how they're doing in their respective leagues.

I always did like Jean Luc.

However if I could have 2 players back from that list they would be Briere and Sarich.

I guess you have to give Darcy credit for trimming the fat. The vast majority of these guys are bums, including Tim Kennedy, who you left off the list. The only guys on the list I would want back are Briere and maybe Lydman and extra-maybe MacArthur for depth (face it, he's better than Gerbe). I miss Spacek and Dumont, too, but they're getting old.

Fuck did Hasek ever look slow in the game today against Canada at the Spengler Cup. Still played really well, and kept his team close for half the game. But he loses sight of the puck way too easily now.

:lol: I wonder if he could make it in the NHL. He's a pretty good KHL option, but could he crank it back up to an acceptable NHL level? (Personal opinion, no. But would be interesting to watch.)
