...even though he hasn't played in 2 weeks and is probably hobbling around on a cane? Just a trifle pathetic.

I say Vanek over takes him this week, with Stafford or Leopold over taking him by the end of the month.

I say Hecht won't overtake him all season. :(

Edit: At the end of the season Roy will probably still be a top-6 forward on our team with 35 points. That's really sad.

This team is collecting points like crazy lately it seems. 7 out of the last 8 points, to be exact. They've climbed back to .500 (technically) and are rolling right now. Why don't we save the complaints. Stafford and Vanek have stepped up in a big way in Roy's absence. Why don't we talk about that. Vanek is on a 4-game point streak with 6 points in those 4 games. Stafford has been red hot since that hat trick against Boston in mid December. Not to mention the continued success of Leopold. Pominville and Hecht haven't been too bad either as of late either. Fact is, the guys who need to be contributing more often have been since Roy went down. So I'm certainly not going to complain.

Well seeing how Vanek is 4 points back of Roy now with 31 points in 41 games, I can see him overtaking Roy in no time. And Stafford has 22 points in 26 games, he'll get there soon enough.
