I missed tonight's game against the Islanders, how did Paille do? Did he fit in well, was he playing up to speed or was he slacking? |

He was decent...had an assist and a couple scoring chances. Not a great night, but not a bomb either. |

Kinda sucks he's sitting out, but he's always good to have as a healthy scratch for when someone goes down. Both our scratches are great back ups, between Paille and Paetsch. |

If he goes two more games without scoring he could find himself back in Portland...which may not be such a terrible thing for his development. |

I don't see it being much of an issue. How often during the season will there be a full and healthy roster? So, for maybe ten games this season Kennedy will have to go back to Portland. Once somebody else is hurt, Kennedy will be back and playing while other players sit as the healthy scratches. |

But all of the other players on the roster are wingers. So you'll be moving Hecht back to center (a terrible idea, in my opinion) or someone else. Though, did Ellis play some center? You might see Goose moved up to center the 3rd if they could put Ellis at center. Ham |

I thought Paille was a big factor in how we won. He was very responsible on the defensive side. He created 2 goals, his hustle created our first goal than he got an assist on one. Didn't look too bad. |

Kennedy will be back in Buffalo when they activate Mair, because that will put the team over the 23 man roster limit. The team knows that Paille is still an asset to this team, he plays well and hustles. Kennedy could still use some more refinement to his game. I see when Mair is activated Kennedy goes down and Paille goes in. Unless they take the risk and either try to send Mair or Paille to Portland. Paille will get claimed, and Mair might also get claimed. |

Dan Paille was one of the better forwards in the game. He hustled every shift, went into the corners and he created chances. Those chances were cashed in. He should be in the line-up. Kennedy should be sent down to improve his game a little more. |

Kennedy has been great on defense, and he's generated some solid chances on offense. While he hasn't been lights out, I don't think we have another player that could do a better job as a third line center. It might not be showing on the scoreboard, but his line has been good. I don't think he's going anywhere. |

Now we KNOW we'll have enough injuries down the stretch that Paille and Mair will get playing time. It's a weird feeling of depth we haven't had in a few years. |
