They just mentioned it on the WGR post game. Hecht without an "A" and Vanek with one. I like the move. Has this anything to do with ownership change? I know that sounds silly, but the timing begs it to be asked... Thoughts? |

Well, the more we see quick drastic changes the more we have to believe it has to do with the change. BTW, I love this second big change of the day. Hopefully it's a move to pin it on Vanek before too long. I know a lot of people don't think he's capt. material, but he's always struck me as a "call it as ya see it guy", and that's good enough for me. |

As they just said on WGR, Rivet isn't "gone", so he's still the captain. Out of respect you would just have assistants until that situation is resolved. On the other hand, they can try out a few different guys and see who's best at the job. Sort of like an election, maybe? Depends on who gets to pick the captain anyway. It's all a try-out in my eyes. |

The captain/alternate rotation concept needs to end abruptly. Rivet wants a trade, so his ass will be out shortly. A permanent captain will be named in his place. Rotating the captaincy is automatic fail. |
