They are rolling along like a juggernaut, and they are going to knock the Canes, Leafs, and Thrashers aside like bulling pins. I've never seen anything like this in all my years, this team is going to get the 8th seed.

The only way the Sabres can avoid them is to catch the Rangers again. It's going to be 7th or out. Time to step up the desperation again, because hell is on your heels.

The Devils aren't making the playoffs, neither is Toronto or Atlanta. The Rangers, Hurricanes, and Sabres will be battling for 7th and 8th for the rest of the season.

I'm with Pens fans man, these guys are for real and can't be stopped. We need to get into playoff mode now.

Alright somebody on my frequency. They are 6 points out with a game at hand and there are 26 points on the table for them. They already passed up Atlanta and Toronto. So mean, if they win their game at hand they are 2 points behind the Canes and 4 behind Buffalo. They don't play the Canes again but they do have a head to head with the Sabres and Rangers. So if they win that head to head, and their game at hand, they are only TWO points behind the Sabres.

Seriously, catch the Rangers and put the 8th seed in the rearview, because nobody in the game is playing better hockey than the Devils. And woe be to whoever plays them in the first round.

I don't see it happening. I think the rest of the league is going to start prepping for huge games against them because of the roll they're on.

They can try, but we're talking about a team that has won 23 of it's past 28 games, and Parise is only going to get better as he finds his game legs. Broduer is the best goalie of all-time, so it's not like he's going to worry about added pressure.

I think they may well grab a playoff spot. The only real good news about that is that if Buffalo makes the playoffs, they won't have to face New Jersey in the first round.

The Devils are going to finish with a higher seed than Carolina. That Canes team blows. How they win is beyond me.

Ummm yeah, but you see they just start another streak. 8 game streak ends, 7 game streak begins, 7 game streak ends, 9 game streak begins. There is NO WAY they are suddenly going to go back to being the Devils that started the season. At this point they could go 9-4 and get in.

Pens fan, I think you are grasping at straws here.... anything can happen.... saying they will not be stopped is a little out there... saying they wont go back to what they were like at the beginning of the season.... it may not be likely... but it can still happen, that is the beauty of all sports anything can happen. Who knows Elias and Parise might break their legs and then boom no more devils.
