one bad apple spoils the bunch, i suppose. why do they have a team? id love to go to that game and be loud, and proud. even though im not from buffalo. tell ya what, when ever i go to an away game, the sabre fans are loud and in charge of that arena. and its fun. |

I'm there for at least one of the games every season. Sabres fans drown them out most times and they really hate it. All the "yankee" type anti-north bigotry comes out and some of it goes my way even though I'm doing nothing more than cheering my team (without any extra crap). I suppose everyone has a personal horror story about fans, but I've never seen any very rude conduct either way at these games. I'll be there Sunday and it will be especially enjoyable to watch Carolina get eliminated and see the fans cry about it. |

I wish i could make the 4 1/2 hour drive to go to this game. Reading that thread really annoyed me. I so want to hear a "Lets go Buffalo" chant now!!!!! |

It's not bloated heresy. Sabres fans perpetrated some serious shit during the 06 ECF - like throwing commemorative pint glasses at Canes fans after game 1. (What team gives out GLASSES at a hockey game?!) Also, man those Canes fans are so tough. Threatening to buy up the last 200 or so available tickets so the thousands of Sabres fans who already have tickets can't buy up a few more. Morons. It's going to be an invasion of stupid proportions. |

It'll be interesting to see what the playoff picture is at that point. If there are playoff implications it will be a good atmosphere, if Carolina is out then it will be Buffalo, NC in there |

Someone I follow on Twitter has been tracking the number of available tickets left to that game at the box office. Last he checked a couple of days ago, there were 248 left. Think about how many have already been bought up by Sabres fans. Those Canes fans won't know what hit em. |
