Actually, I'm very close to making Gerbe my new jersey as well. Not to sound crazy, but if they trade Gerbe away at all after the heart he's shown in the last month, I think I'd openly revolt. |

When a forward cuts to the middle of the ice in front of the defenseman, often they will lift the puck off the ice a bit to avoid a stick check. Go back and watch Gerbe's playoff clinching goal again. Right as he's making his deke to the center of the ice, he fakes this very play, lifting the puck slightly before slamming the breaks for the spin-o-rama. How can you not be sold on this kid? Ham |

I gotta say ... January... I was ready to ship him off... for the simple fact that I thought Gerbe, Ennis Roy was just giving up to much size in the top 6... feeling that all 3 need to be in the top 6 to be effective and its just too much size to give up.... NOW.... ya simply can NOT get rid of Gerbe or Ennis.... and Roy's skill and cap hit well I dont think you can move him either... I really need to sit back and rethink my entire off season...once we get there!!!! ENJOY THE PLAY-OFFS BOYS!!! Thank you scrappy doo!!!! |

Gerbe has been great the last 30 games or so. He works his ass off and is definetly one of Lindy's go to guys in the last minute of the game when they are protecting a lead. Plus what's not to love about this guy he throws his weight around and is usually going against a team top player. |

Holy Mackerel. I just got done with the DVR. What a freaking game, I am in awe. This team can beat anybody right now. Win or lose, all I ask for is heart and that they have been giving more often than not for months now. Tonight was one of the REALLY great moments for Sabres fans, just an overall epic game. Besides his goal, how about that back check to prevent a breakaway. Nothing but heart on that play boys. Wow. |
