Title says it all. What a run they went on from 1/1 onward. Onto the first full season of Pegula. |

It was a hell of a ride, this season was way more exciting than last year's and so was the playoff run. The loss still stings, it's hard to wrap my head around the fact that we won't be seeing any Sabres hockey until next October...but there is a lot to look forward to. It will be an interesting offseason. |

If you would have told me in January that this team would have taken the Flyers to seven games in the first round of the playoffs, I would have laughed in your face. But they did. They showed so much heart in the second half of the year to fight their way back into the playoff picture and hang on to seventh place. I'm looking forward to what this organization can do next year. |

But I will simply say thank you to all the Sabres players, coaches, owners (yeah even the fucktards that let Briere get away), trainers, equipment guys, and everybody else associated with enlightening my life with Sabres hockey. It's a tough yet classy city with a tough and (with the exception of Patty Mouth) classy hockey team. I feel just awful for the players, especially Ryan Miller who really played amazing. I bow slightly forward with my hands pressed together, I am in awe of Ryan Miller's talents as a goalie. He has done nothing to tarnish his Vezina trophy, and in many ways he was even better this season. Thank you Ryan Miller. I also want to give a special thank you too Tyler Myers. My next jersey will be #57 with a "C" on it. A few years premature perhaps, but you sir will be a part of the Sabre's first Stanley Cup celebration. And thank you for playing so awesome! I wish I didn't shave my playoff beard. |

With a True diehard hockey family owning this team we will always have hope. Pegula's time as owner you can definetly can see the impact that he made on the players, fans and the whole organization. Good things are coming as long as he's running the show. I'm looking forward to the offseason but don't expect much unrestricted free agent wise because their isn't many impact forwards in this year's crop that is going to make Buffalo that much better. I look forward to seeing our youth in Portland and in junior's more than free agency. |

I'm sure as hell not to the 'thank you sabres' point. I'm more at the "WHAT THE FUCK, DO YOU GUYS HAVE ANY FREAKING DESIRE TO COMPETE?" point...but, whatever. Fuck philly, and their dirtbag fans and town. |

I'm still not ready to thank the players or coaching staff. I just don't think they deserve it right now. I would like to say thank you to the Pegula family for purchasing this team and giving them inspiration and a drive that they sorely lacked during the first part of the season. If it wasn't for that we would have never seen the playoffs. I am eager to see what the off season has in store for the Sabres. |
