Not a bad signing--might be on the high side $$ wise. This definitely means we are not getting Richards...time to move on to trade route for Stastny/Spezza.

I also have to think that there is a trade in the works for another one of our wingers. We have plenty of wingers and still need a center. I have to imagine that Darcy has something in the fire to bring in a center that includes moving out one of our wingers.

Im not too big of a fan of this signing but it has potential to work out, hopefully it does.

I like the player, but I really don't know about the money. Here's why: he played on a line with Briere right? (If I'm wrong please set me straight). Who else used to play on a line with Briere and signed a long term deal for $5.5 mil? That's right, Jason Pominville. I hope Leino wasn't maybe just getting some inflated stats because of Briere.

For as much as I think Pominville is overpaid, I would miss him if he left.

I have a feeling this means a trade is coming in the next couple days. Keep your eyes open, folks.
