Not playing for a week is normally what hurts teams the most. Get back into the routine of things and these games don't happen to often. |

After the first, that was it. Seemed to me that the whole team started to mail it in from time to time. Tomorrow won't be any easier. 2 pts now mean just as much, if not more at the end of the year. Take what you can get now, boys. |

I don't agree Miller looked horrible. Yeah, he didn't steal one, but the Sabres gave up about 39 odd man rushes. They easily could have given up 4 or 5 SHGs. Ham |

truth be told. alot of teams struggle when they come back from europe. dunno what it is. seems a team that comes back always seems to struggle once they get back. |

Looked like they didn't really have much in the tank. I almost expected it after a 6 day layoff. I'm sure once they get back into the groove here they'll be fine. |

And they might have lost, due to their horrible PP (maybe too much practice without game pressure gave them bad habits?), but when things were going right, they were clearly the better team. I'm not losing sleep on that one. |

our d was bad.. myers couldn't keep on his skates it seemed. Adam looked lost for the first time this season. Van was good. Roy was good. Ville was good. Same with Staff. but the 2 shorties killed us.. FIRE DARCY!

I actually thought we looked pretty good. Think about it In a game where the team did an okay at best job of getting pucks to the net and could have shot more...we put 42 on Cam Ward. Outside of the opportunities the Sabres put right in Carolina's lap by taking penalties or coughing up the puck on the power play, they had virtually zero good scoring chances. I can't think of a single good chance 5 on 5 Carolina had. |
